50CC EXTRA 300 Building in South Africa

well the plane, she is smart!
here are the first impressions:
- comes in a well packed ply wood box (Coffin)lol
- all mager delicate parts are in bubble rap.
- this is the carbon fiber version and the the CF parts are really well made.
- the wheels have alu hubs with bushes/ bearings.
- the hardware seems to be very good.
- even comes with a predrilled Cf spinner!!!

(I couldn't resist: "made in China" lol)

BTW, NOT ONE SINGLE BUBBLE ON THE COVERING!!!!!!!!

100cc EXTRA 260  review from a customer scheme customer

 Flew today and was able to get some time on it! We never broke freezing, but the sun came out so it was not bad. Man, this thing really groves and holds a line great. It feels very solid, and snaps so good its crazy. A few things on the plane!

COOL
High quality, blem free plane.
best covering job I have seen
All hinges are sealed, with the exception of the rudder
The kit has a really high level of completion
Removable rudder, two piece cowl
Ultra complete, I would be out shopping for $200 or so in carbon with others
You can actually get the plane, and parts! I got my custom plane to my door in about 2 weeks.
Killer customer service
Flys very well, as good as anything I have flown. (dont have enough time on it to really know "how" good till I get more time on it)

Not Cool
The only thing I really can pick on is the tailwheel wire.

97" Extra 260 Hacker A80-8  electric motor

I loaded all the lipos in the plane the wing servos switchs (everthing that is not mounted in the plane yet)
bolted the wings on and put it on the scale.
this is what I have (without wheel pants)
21.2 LB

the plane goes together very fast even without a manual (they are working on one) the quality is as good as or better than any of the GS ARF's.
and customer service is great.

100CC YAK review by Rockin' Rick

HI everyone! Man, I've been looking forward to the arrival of this one.  This is one of the best kept secrets in the RC airplane world at this time. Not too many folks are aware that this plane is becoming available and I managed to get one ordered early from the distributor.  It is possibly the best built YAK out there and I'm sure that you'll agree when you see just how this one is constructed.  I've heard that Aeroworks is shakin' all over with worry now that someone is able to give them some real competition.  And it just may be a better airplane.   All carbon fiber accessories, normally an option with other planes, are standard on this one.  CF Wingtube, CF Stab tube, CF landing gear, CF tail wheel,  and CF Spinner, are all STANDARD and included with the ARF.  .....
